Today’s Barber follows a new age of direction where your professional image interacts with everyday life. As a professional Barber you have the ability for self-management, creativity abounds with the young and young at heart, and the ability to manage your own time for you and your future. Just why did that Barber Pole get to be stripped, what does it all mean, how does it present itself with modern day cutting techniques and what is on the horizon as a Licensed Professional Barber?
Only you…..can answer. The profession needs barbers to maintain and offer alternative unisex styling stations or salons as well as maintaining that traditional barbershop feel with high-end treatments to upbeat and trendy motifs. The professions needs Barbers who will pass along their skills and the standard of the profession to new and young barbers to replace retiring practitioners. This program will not only teach you precise cutting skills from layered cuts to fades and designs that may come with them but proper shaving skills that transform that ordinary shave to one of proper skin treatments to ease the irritation that may come from improperly trained clients. Along with basic and up to date cutting techniques, barbers can color, trim, relax, and enhance the hair texture as well as advise on proper conditioning and shampooing to maintain the health and fullness of the scalp. Now is the time to take charge of your life and enhance a lifelong career as a BARBER!
