Massage Therapy Program
503 Clock Hours
Completion of this program will qualify the student to take the National Certification Exam, which upon passing, will allow application to the Board of Massage for state licensure. The massage techniques taught in this section of the program represents a substantial portion, as much as 95%, of massage actually performed in the workplace.
School Clinic:
The school operates a school clinic where the general public can receive a massage at a discounted rate. Students graduating with these skills will find themselves better prepared for the job market as it now exists.
Half-Time Programs Available
for the Massage Therapy Program:
A student may choose to extend their full-time 24-week program to half-time 36 or 48 weeks and attend classes 2 days or 2 evenings per week instead of 4. The half-time programs allow for fewer in-class hours per week and a lower monthly payment plan. Many students not able to attend the 24 week full time course find that half-time suits their scheduling and financial needs.
