An aging face above a well-toned body presents a needless incongruity and one that may be easily corrected through application of skin care techniques and facials. Aesthetics is defined as the study and appreciation of beauty in art and nature. Skin-Care is a highly respected profession among medical professionals and practitioners in the field of cosmetology called Skin-Care Specialist. The para medical field of skin care in which skin therapists work directly under the supervision of physicians is growing. More men and women are spending increasing amounts to look and feel better, and it is to their advantage to seek professional advice. The result is the benefit in improvement of physical and psychological effects, and higher self esteem. An outline of what the Skin specialist actually does to correct Facial treatment attempts to correct skin imbalances and less than acceptable appearance to keep skin healthy and attractive.
